Roy C, FL : Absolutely top notch. This 50 Amp Generator outputs 10KW with no problem. You could even power a 200 Amp single family home, if you are careful with your loads.
The DuroMax easily got my 3 ton HVAC unit running, the surge was no problem. The unit is solidly constructed. The assembly is fairly easy including the wheel and pull bars. The 50 Amp Generator is heavy but it’s easy to roll over the yard or asphalt.
It does create a racket, but that’s to be expected off a 12KW unit. There are two minor problems, a) the battery is not easily accessible b) the exhaust needs to be extended and you would require a 1″ diameter adaptor.
This 50 Amp Generator is highly recommended. Everything except the 50 amp plug is part of the generator kit. I bought my 50 amp plug at Lowes for $10.

This baby took care of all my power requirement during the power outage. I was running a Fridge, a Freezer Chest, my Desktop Computer, 2 Motor Well Pumps, and the home lights.
It ran over 14 hours on a full tank of gas and I even ran my fan at night. Cable TV was down but I could see the national broadcast using an antenna. The first night I did not run the AC and I was worried if it could take the load of my 4-ton heat pump.

Maynard Jim, VA : The Briggs & Stratton Generator has been with me a couple of years now. Solid dependable, it has heated my home and prevented my basement from flooding three times now.
It starts an runs for 15 minutes every week. It does that automatically so that the Generator is always ready when it is really needed.
